OVERVIEW Silence Remover is an iOS application that removes silent pauses from videos. This privacy policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

DATA COLLECTION Silence Remover does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or video content. The app does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reporting services, or any third-party SDKs that collect user information.

PHOTOS LIBRARY ACCESS The app requests access to your Photos library for two purposes:

1. To import a video you select for editing
2. To save the edited video back to your Photos library The app only accesses videos you explicitly choose. Videos are processed entirely on your device using Apple's AVFoundation framework. Videos are never uploaded to any server, never transmitted off your device, and never accessed by the developer.

BACKGROUND PROCESSING The app uses iOS background processing (BGContinuedProcessingTask) to allow long video exports to complete if you switch to another app. This processing occurs entirely on your device. No network activity occurs at any time.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Silence Remover does not integrate with any third-party services. There are no external APIs, no cloud services, no analytics platforms, and no advertising networks involved in the operation of the app.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY Silence Remover does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect data from any users regardless of age.

USER CONTROL You retain full control over the app's access to your data. Photos library permission can be modified or revoked at any time through the iOS Settings app under Privacy and Security. Revoking permission does not delete any of your videos.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the app's functionality. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes occur. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
